Self Love/selfcare

By

It is close to the new year, and we are again at that time we ask, should I make a new years resolution? This is a big question that usually lead to big ideas, and then small follow through. This repeated loss of momentum or not accomplishing goals leaves us with a bad taste in our mouth, and little willingness to create goals, or even work on self-improvement goals we feel we will never accomplish. So this leads to many questions one of being what seems to get in the way of this potential growth? With some self-reflection one may ask if we are truly invested in self-care, or more pointedly do we have self-love? Exploring this more, one could ask what are the biggest obstacles of self-love? what is your biggest obstacle? This is a chance to reflect on this question and maybe put some more thought into it and maybe work towards to overcoming this feeling of stuck or lack of growth. Please take a moment to think about this and write back to me here in the chat what your thoughts are on this and what possible barriers you may be experiencing.

For this new year lets start with a couple of measures to see where you are at in a couple areas of your life so as we start this journey we will have better idea on areas that would be really helpful.

first would be to do a check in with your self-love, this first one is a 0-5 scale 0 being not at all, and 5 being completely (please pick one rating each question and record the responses to add up at the end):
