So often in life we struggle, can be different reason be it I am slightly tired moving slow, or you had a bad day at work, a fight with a friend We need to adjust our thinking about pushing ourselves harder, or “man up” and maybe come at this with compassion. .I am struggling but I am being kind, allowing myself that extra time to get started so my day doesn’t feel rushed. You adapt to make your success more likely. It’s part of making yourself a priority. When you are struggling giving yourself extra care actually makes you more productive instead up frustrated and gloomy.
